Culture and Language Manager

Full-Time | 35 Hours per week | Term | Wage Range: $48.56-68.83 per hour

Scw’exmx Child and Family Services Society (SCFSS) is seeking a Culture and Language Manager to provide traditional expertise to the Culture and Language Team while infusing nłeʔkepmx and syilx culture into all aspects of SCFSS. This role will share traditional knowledge to develop culturally grounded programs and services that strengthen cultural and linguistic connections and support the reclamation of cultural identity. With the guidance of Resident Elders, the Culture and Language Manager will ensure that traditional values are infused into protocol agreements, SCFSS policies and governance. This position will provide cultural representation on committees, working groups and actively engage with communities to build relationships, gather feedback and gain insights that will enhance programming and teachings.
